Two more injuries have been inflicted on Brighton & Hove Albion ahead of their Thursday matchup against Tottenham Hotspur.

In a double injury setback for Brighton and Hove Albion before of their Premier League matchup with Tottenham Hotspur at the Amex Stadium on Thursday, manager Roberto De Zerbi has stated that both Kaoru Mitoma and Simon Adingra will miss at least four weeks of action.

Both players will be sidelined until the end of January after being taken off the field during Brighton’s 1-1 draw at Crystal Palace last week. Adingra is sidelined due to a hamstring ailment, and Mitoma has sustained an ankle injury.

De Zerbi stated on Wednesday, before of Spurs’ arrival: “We have about ten injured players tomorrow, maybe eight, but (the other) two players can’t start the game.” A type of them is mitoma. Kaoru was gone for four, five, or six weeks at the most. Adingra, I believe he needs to recover for four or five weeks. No Adingra, no Mitoma tomorrow.

Joel Veltman, Tariq Lamptey, Adam Webster, Solly March, Julio Enciso, and Ansu Fati are Brighton’s other six injured players. Jakub Moder is still recovering from an ACL injury, thus he is not yet ready to be selected in the starting lineup. Pervis Estupinan and Adam Lallana can be listed on the bench, but they are not expected to start.

A lot of injuries this season were unlucky because March, Pervis Estupinan, Enciso, and Mitoma are not injuries that affect the muscles,” he continued. We may be paid for performing three times a week. Although I would prefer to play with the entire team, Tottenham has played many games with seven or eight players missing, and I have never seen [Ange] Postecoglou cry. We have to understand that football is what it is.

I believe we can compete in an identical manner. With a full team, we might not have the same quality on the bench, but with the younger guys, we might have more vigor.

Tottenham is also not immune to injuries; Cristian Romero’s expected absence is four weeks due to a hamstring strain. In addition to Yves Bissouma being unable to play against his former team due to suspension, Ivan Perisic, Rodrigo Bentancur, Micky van de Ven, James Maddison, Ryan Sessegnon, and Manor Solomon will also be sidelined by injuries.
