Wrexham’s promotion looks set to receive a boost following reports that Elliot Lee has agreed to sign a new contract.
Consequently, what happened?
This season, the midfielder has already scored 13 goals and contributed two assists in League Two. Last season, he was instrumental in Wrexham’s return to the Football League. Although Lee’s current contract was supposed to end in 2025, TEAMtalk reports that he has decided to commit to the team for the long run.

After leaving Luton Town for Wrexham in 2022, Lee fell three divisions, and he has been a big attraction at the SToK Racecourse ever since. As Wrexham battles to advance to League One, owners Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney have demonstrated their dedication to holding onto their finest players.
WERE YOU AWARENESS?
Rob Lee, a former midfielder for Charlton, Newcastle, and England, is the father of Lee. He started his playing career at West Ham, but was never able to establish himself as a regular in the first team at the east London side. He then played for Barnsley before moving to Luton in 2017.
WHAT IS NEXT FOR LEE?
On New Year’s Day, Lee and his colleagues will try to go back to winning ways as Wrexham takes on fellow promotion contenders Barrow. The team concluded 2023 with a depressing 3-1 loss to Walsall.
