We’re thrilled to have injury expert Dr. Rajpal Brar as our exclusive columnist. Every week, he’ll share his thoughts on Leeds United’s injury situation. Dr. Rajpal Brar says that despite interest from Frankfurt in a transfer, defender Robin Koch should have no trouble passing his medical. The 27-year-old has a stellar fitness record, and the injury expert does not see any red flags arising in his fitness.

The Bundesliga team is reportedly willing to offer the Germany international a three-year contract for about £52,000 per week, according to BILD.

Brar, a sports scientist and physical therapist, exclusively spoke to MOT Leeds News about Koch.

“In general, and particularly in the last few years, his injury history isn’t that alarming.

“I would say there’s a very strong likelihood he passes a medical examination.

He has participated in the majority of the games this season, which is encouraging for any purchasing team.

He’s offered his side availability, which is the best positive.”

Koch has made 20 appearances across all competitions this season, showing that he is a reliable member of the German team.

In the event of relegation, he could have left Elland Road per the terms of his contract, and he decided to take full advantage of that option.

Currently, it appears doubtful that he will go back to West Yorkshire because the Frankfurt management is interested in signing him long-term.
