After experiencing a setback in his recuperation from an injury, Unai Emery is optimistic that Pau Torres will be able to play for Villa in their Premier League encounter against Everton later this month.

Torres is still dealing with the symptoms of an ankle injury he had last month, thus he is out of the FA Cup third round match at Middlesbrough on Saturday.
The Spain international did not practice this past week due to stiffness, although he did enter the game off the bench during Villa’s 3-2 victory against Burnley last Saturday. On January 14, Villa travels to Everton.
After suffering the injury in a 2-1 victory against Brentford, Torres was sidelined for the last 30 minutes of the Burnley game when Clement Lenglet reported feeling ill.
Pau was feeling more worse after the game, according to Emery.
We made the decision to pause once again so he could heal. I believe he will be available throughout the upcoming week, but not tomorrow.
Goalkeeper Robin Olsen, left-back Lucas Digne, and midfielder Youri Tielemans are all still out. Boubacar Kamara is back in action after being suspended.
