Wilfried Zaha, a 31-year-old attacker for Galatasaray, is apparently wanting to return to the Premier League with Aston Villa.
Football Transfers has reported that Aston Villa is targeting Wilfried Zaha in the current transfer window as they look to bolster their attack. In an effort to contend for the Premier League championship, Unai Emery is eager to bring a new winger into his team.

Wilfried Zaha’s narrative So Far Zaha joined Manchester United back in the winter of 2013 after progressing through the ranks at Crystal Palace. He was not happy at Old Trafford, and at the beginning of 2015, he was back with the Eagles.

He spent more than eight years playing for Palace’s first squad. For the Eagles, the 31-year-old appeared in 458 games and helped to score 166 goals. In order to join Galatasaray last summer, Zaha left his childhood club after an impressive run in the Premier League.

The 31-year-old winger has made appearances in 14 league games since joining the Turkish team, scoring seven goals in the process. While he is quite content at his current club and has a deal that extends until the summer of 2026, many clubs are eager on bringing him back to Europe.

A Premier League Comeback in Store?
Among the teams interested in the 31-year-old is Aston Villa. Since the beginning of the 2023–2024 season, they have been in incredible form. As of right now, Villa is ranked second in the Premier League and might win the championship if they continue to play at this level all the way through.

Unai Emery, nevertheless, wants to make sure his team has enough firepower to contend for the league championship. The Aston Villa manager is trying to bolster his team with a new winger as a result. The Spanish manager holds Zaha in high regard. When he was managing Arsenal, he was hoping to sign him. Even though Emery may not have signed the 31-year-old in the past, he still believes he has a lot to give.

Aston Villa has been pursuing the former Crystal Palace winger in an attempt to sign him. However, because he moved to the Turkish club only six months ago and is content there, it won’t be simple to get his services. But Zaha will undoubtedly reconsider his future if he gets the chance to join Villa.
