Marcus Edwards, a 25-year-old forward from England, is apparently very interested in joining West Ham United from Sporting CP.
Marcus Edwards may be on West Ham United’s radar, according to a report from A Bola, as David Moyes looks to bolster his assault this month.

The Ascent of Marcus Edwards Edwards, who has six goals and five assists this season across all competitions, has established himself as an important player for Sporting CP in Liga Portugal. In addition to playing as a central offensive midfielder, he can also play as a winger or center striker.

The Hammers will have an extra benefit if they are able to sign him because of his versatility. The Englishman has been linked with a return to the Premier League in the past as well. Despite his lackluster tenure at Tottenham Hotspur, the North London team was previously mentioned as a possible suitor for him.

Marcus Edwards is wanted by West Ham United.
It will be intriguing to observe if Marcus Edwards is offered a contract by West Ham. His contract contains a €60 million release clause, thus Sporting CP is unlikely to take a bargain price for him. It’s unclear if West Ham is willing to spend a lot of money.

The 25-year-old has demonstrated his abilities in European games and with Sporting CP in Portugal. He has the potential to be a top-notch winger in the Premier League, no question about it. The €60 million asking price, meanwhile, is very high, and West Ham will be hoping to work out a more affordable deal.

The Hammers have performed admirably in the Premier League this year, and they will try to at least qualify for the Europa League. To make that happen, they must strengthen their roster in January.

This season, Jarrod Bowen has been West Ham’s main goal scorer and creative force. Edwards’ arrival would greatly benefit West Ham, and he needs more backing from his teammates.

After failed to leave his mark on English football with Tottenham, the 25-year-old will be driven to succeed in the Premier League, which will be an added advantage for the Hammers.
