In a video from Friday’s first team practice in Lennoxtown, Celtic unveiled Adam Sadler as their new First Team coach. Having previously worked with Brendan Rodgers at Leicester City, Sadler has come to continue the work that Harry Kewell left behind to take over as manager of Yokohama F Marinos.
Given that Sadler collaborated with Rodgers for four years, it is not surprising that he plays a significant part in the session in the video that the club uploaded to YouTube.
It’s a good thing that Rodgers brought in “his coach” since that person will be accustomed to his training regimen and approach, and they can help the first team become more cohesive. Whether he will play an attacking or more general coaching role is still to be seen.
After Nicolas Kuhn, who is anticipated to arrive from Rapid Vienna, is added to the first team playing staff in the coming weeks, Celtic supporters will be watching with bated breath.
