Nottingham Forest’s Premier League charge will not affect the club’s January transfer plans, according to head coach Nuno Espirito Santo.

The Reds could face penalties after it was revealed on Monday that they have violated the Profitability and Sustainability guidelines. They have two weeks to address the accusation.

The January transfer window ends on February 1 at 11 p.m. Forest hasn’t added any players this month, but managing departures was always going to be the top concern because Nuno has shown a desire to manage a smaller team.

“No, not at all,” is the response given when asked if the charges will affect what occurs during the timeframe. It has no effect on anything.

“We must carry on with our work. The squad’s equilibrium is crucial.

“We need to assemble the team. The goal is to get better, but we are working on it even if it’s difficult, particularly during this window. We’re working to determine how to use the team to its fullest potential for the remainder of the season. We are focusing on that every day.

Nuno declined to say if he was aware of the club’s financial predicament prior to accepting the position. After Steve Cooper was fired last month, the Portuguese was appointed.

Since I’ve played in the Premier League, we’ve been aware of them. I am aware of these guidelines,” he remarked. “We are aware that every Premier League team, including Forest, has been closely examining the circumstances.

“I am aware that every club is being observed in that regard. Financial Fair Play is a problem for Forest and every team in the Premier League, the Championship, and the entire globe.
