The most recent rumors and information about transfers involving Brighton & Hove Albion and other Premier League teams

Kamari Doyle of Southampton is almost signed by Brighton and Hove Albion.

Footballinsider247.com reports that the 18-year-old England youth international, who is regarded as one of the nation’s best developing talents, is scheduled to have a physical with Brighton on Wednesday.

The midfield player has been a member of Southampton since he was seven years old, and he even made his senior debut for the team last season at the Amex Stadium against Brighton.

However, injuries have hampered his development this season, and he has only appeared in two games for Russell Martin’s squad as a member of the first team.

Doyle will join the expanding group of gifted youth players at Brighton who are vying for playing time in the first squad. It is said that the two clubs have agreed on a fee for Doyle.

Doyle may provide Brighton manager Roberto De Zerbi more alternatives in the upcoming campaigns. De Zerbi has given the younger players this season, such adolescents Jack Hinshelwood, Carlos Baleba, and Facundo Buonanotte, opportunity.

The youngster had previously been linked with moves to West Ham and Fulham.
