Mateusz Musialowski of Liverpool is apparently close to signing with Leeds United; his contract expires in six months.
Leeds United is reportedly pursuing Mateusz Musialowski’s signing because they may be able to take advantage of his contractual position, according to Football Insider. The 20-year-old attacker wants to play in senior games overseas, thus Liverpool is willing to let him go for a small amount.

Mateusz Musialowski could soon be joining Leeds United?
Leeds United, who now sit fourth in the Championship standings, is motivated to hold onto their spot or improve as they pursue a return to the top division. As they continue to put in a lot of effort in the background to attract acquisitions, they require a few players in various positions.

One of their needs is a backup striker, for whom there aren’t many possibilities on the market. A few days ago, when Mateusz Musialowski, a 20-year-old forward from Liverpool, approached the last six months of his contract, they were linked to him.

With six goals in eleven games for Liverpool’s U21 team, Musialowski has shown promise for the club’s younger teams. He still has a strong desire to play football for the first team, but under Jurgen Klopp, that is unlikely to happen, especially with the options the German manager has available.

Leeds is now pursuing his signing with the intention of using him as a backup striker. The 20-year-old forward from Liverpool would have plenty of playing time in that position, creating opportunities going forward. Given the length of his current contract at Anfield, the Championship team will probably sign him permanently.

Is Leeds United going to have a hectic window finale?
In addition to their need for a backup striker, Leeds must take care of certain defensive problems before the January transfer window closes. Calvin Ramsay and Nat Phillips of Liverpool are players they are interested in, but they were also interested in Tottenham’s Ben Davies earlier.

Concerns were raised regarding the potential loss of Wilfried Gnonto and Crysencio Summerville on the offensive end. While the former was always expected to stay at the club despite rumors of returning to the Premier League, the latter appears to be sticking around at least until the summer.

Leeds would consider adding a couple of defenders and a backup striker to be a successful window in light of that, but in order to do so, they may have a busy window closing. Regarding Musialowski, he might be a valuable asset to the team, which would benefit everyone.
