According to Corriere dello Sport on Thursday, Bryan Gil of Tottenham Hotspur has been signed by Brentford and Brighton & Hove Albion in the winter transfer window. The winger will reportedly quit the North London club and is anticipated to stay in England, according to other reports.

The 22-year-old has been connected to Lazio and Fiorentina for the last few weeks. According to Italian journalist Alfredo Pedullà, Maurizio Sarri’s team has received a “proposal” from a middleman regarding the Tottenham player.

Although Lazio considers the Spain international to be a “good player,” they also think his goal and assist totals are “not very effective.” The Serie A team’s lack of interest would inspire Brighton.

Gil may depart Spurs at the end of current window after being limited to just two league starts this season. According to TMW, he’s likely to stay in the Premier League, where Brighton is the team that is “most interested” in signing him.

As rumored, the manager of the Seagulls, Roberto De Zerbi, appears to be leading his team’s pursuit of the Tottenham forward. It’s unclear if Brighton intends to purchase Gil or sign a loan agreement for him.
