Péter Gulácsi, goalkeeper for RB Leipzig, is a target for Nottingham Forest in the winter transfer window.

The Hungary international has been relegated to a supporting position since the 2022–2023 season began, and the Tricky Trees wish to make room for the 33-year-old.

Nottingham Forest has reportedly issued a “formal request” to the Bundesliga team in an attempt to “lure him.”

Odysseas Vlachodimos has been used five times in the league, while Matt Turner has maintained two clean sheets and given up 26 goals in 16 games.
According to Bild, Nottingham Forest has made Gulácsi their new number one and has extended an offer to him till 2026.

As for Leipzig, they don’t want to let the player go because manager Marco Rose has said that in the second half of the season, he’ll play both the Hungarian and first-choice goalkeeper Janis Blaswich.

Bild omits to say whether Leipzig has received a bid from Nuno Espírito Santo’s team.

Additionally, according to Sky Deutschland, Nottingham Forest is considering Gulácsi but hasn’t yet submitted a formal offer.

Leipzig is not pleased with Tricky Trees’ pursuit of a loan agreement, especially in light of Rose’s wish to keep the goalie, according to Bild, who mentions a contract that runs until 2026.
