It seems that West Ham United has placed a bid in the January transfer window for a young attacker who is very interesting.

For West Ham manager David Moyes, the January transfer window is crucial, and after completing a deal for Kalvin Phillips, his next task will be to bring an attacker to the London Stadium.

The Hammers have been connected to many forward signings, including as Nordsjaelland’s Ibrahim Osman in Denmark.

Then, a few days ago, an Italian football agent made the suggestion that West Ham had made an offer for a Monza player, albeit it was unclear which player at the moment.

Was it Andrea Carboni, the center defender, or Valentin Carboni, the offensive midfielder?

The Italian media has now answered that question.

South American attacker bid is made by West Ham
A Calciomercato source states that the Hammers made an approximate £9 million offer for 18-year-old Valentin Carboni.

But Monza are asking for a minimum of £17 million. Indeed, rumors have suggested that signing the teenage Argentine would require more than just that.

Carboni is a very intriguing talent. Although his primary position is attacking midfield, he can also play as a winger when necessary.

For Monza (Transfermarkt), the South American teenager has already scored twice and provided three assists in 15 senior appearances.

For a player so young, Carboni possesses amazing talent, and he has the ability to develop into a true game star.

However, Monza is requesting at least £17 million. In fact, there have been reports that signing the young Argentine would cost more than that.

Carboni is a really fascinating artist. He plays attacking midfield as his regular position, but he can also play as a winger when needed.

In 15 senior games for Monza (Transfermarkt), the adolescent South American has already tallied two goals and three assists.

Carboni is incredibly talented for a guy his age and has the potential to become a real game changer.
