With the loan arrival of Kalvin Phillips, West Ham United supporters can be pleased with their January transfer window thus far.

The England international, who left Manchester City on a temporary basis, will surely strengthen the midfield for the team.

However, it appears that the Hammers are eager to add an attacker to their roster this month. Journalist Dean Jones reported for SportsLens on January 19 that the team is considering Antonio Nusa, a forward for Club Brugge.

With four goals and three assists in all competitions this season, the 18-year-old has been making an impression in Belgium.

According to GOAL (15 June 2022), Nusa’s former Stabaek teammate Mats Solheim said of his playing style, “I can see similarities to Neymar in Nusa’s movements and in the way he uses the ball.” Nusa’s playing style has been compared to that of Brazilian sensation Neymar.

However, his recent play has now compelled Brentford, West Ham’s Premier League opponents, to act quickly. On Sunday, January 28, Fabrizio Romano reported that the Bees had reached an agreement to recruit the teenager.

According to the journalist, the young player would sign a contract worth €30 million or more (£25.6 million) and remain at Brugge until the end of the season before joining Brentford in the summer.

West Ham and Tottenham, two more London-based teams, may take a hit because the North London team has been putting a lot of effort toward signing Nusa this month [GIVEMESPORT, 26 January].

It looks like Brentford has another diamond on their hands, and in the future, the Hammers and Tottenham might find themselves in hot water again due to their done transaction.
