According to reports, West Ham United and the £25 million star have reached an agreement ahead of a possible January deal.
In my opinion, West Ham has already had success with the January transfer window with the loan signing of Kalvin Phillips.
But before the winter window closes, David Moyes will bring a world-class forward to the London Stadium, which will be the icing on the cake for the Hammers.
Ace of Al-Ittihad Jota, 24, is reportedly open to the possibility of joining West Ham, and he is one of the players who is most strongly linked to a move to the London Stadium this month.
Now that the Hammers appear to be making a play for the former Celtic star, it appears that a deal is even closer to completion.
