Gio Reyna has joined Nottingham Forest on loan from Borussia Dortmund until the end of the current campaign. The club announced on their website that Reyna will wear the number 20 shirt while he is in the East Midlands and that Forest will cover all of Reyna’s costs while he is playing at the City Ground.
Reyna has played in the Bundesliga his whole career. He made his senior debut for Dortmund in 2020, making history as the youngest American player in the league.
The midfielder, who was born in Sunderland, is the son of former Manchester City player Claudio Reyna and has garnered 24 caps for his country.
