Reporter Ertan Süzgün from Turkey stated two days ago that Rangers’ Rıdvan Yılmaz decided to depart Ibrox for the winter market. He added that Galatasaray is eager to sign Philippe Clement and that they are figuring out a transfer strategy with him.

Galatasaray is reported to have “reached an agreement” with the Rangers player and his agent; however, a deal with Philippe Clement’s team is now required to wrap up the transaction.
According to the article, the Turkish team is allegedly “trying to break” Rangers in an attempt to persuade the Ibrox club to drop their demands.
This month, Galatasaray manager Okan Buruk asked for a left-back, and with Angeliño’s departure, the necessity to bolster the position has only grown.

If a contract for the Rangers player cannot be reached, they may attempt to sign Nicolás Tagliafico or Frank Fabra of Boca Juniors.

In their quest to wrest the Turkey international from Rangers, the Süper Lig team isn’t letting up. Journalist Emre Kaplan of A Spor claims that Galatasaray will establish “new contact” in order to sign Yılmaz.
