Nuno Espirito Santo will be happy with his team’s support in the transfer market now that Deadline Day has passed.

When Nottingham Forest travels to face AFC Bournemouth this afternoon, the supporters will be eager to see their new additions.

After the Tricky Trees’ 2-1 loss against Arsenal last week, there will be a number of changes made to the starting lineup. These will include outgoings and incomings.

So, with four possible changes from the Gunners’ loss, let’s examine who might start from the off and who might just sit it out.

1GK – Matz Sels

Journalist Cyril Olives-Berthet has called Matz Sels the “magnificent” new face of the Forest XI.

The top player from Strasbourg, who paid over £5 million to join the team on Thursday, is expected to replace Matt Turner in the starting lineup—that is, assuming the 31-year-old can secure a work permit.

RB – Gonzalo Montiel

Under Nuno Santo, the World Cup winner has earned the right-back position, and he will make another start later today.

Montiel has two assists in just five games; his most recent came against the Gunners.

CB – Andrew Omobamidele

Although he has only just gained acceptance into the team, Andrew Omobamidele is expected to stay as the right center defender.

Felipe is the sole viable substitute, although he isn’t quite match-fit.

CB – Murillo

Murillo has been the only reliable member of Forest’s defense this season; the Brazilian has started each of the team’s last 16 Premier League games.

He’ll start at the center of the defense once more.

LB – Harry Toffolo

This season, the left-back position has seen a lot of rotation; however, Harry Toffolo should maintain his starting position this weekend following a strong performance against Arsenal.

The 28-year-old finished three crucial passes, won 80% of his ground battles, and produced five clearences.

DM – Ryan Yates

This season, the captain of Forest has come and gone from the squad, but with Orel Mangala’s departure, the Englishman ought to return right away.

On Sunday, his leadership and work ethic will be crucial.

DM – Danilo

Danilo, who is 22 years old, will continue to play this weekend.

The Brazilian might provide another attacking option. He has also been productive in the last third lately, scoring twice in his past four games.

RW – Nicolas Dominguez

Although by trade Nicolas Dominguez is a midfielder, he has recently been forced into a little more forward role.

The Argentine has performed admirably, and this weekend his enthusiasm will give him the advantage over new acquisition Giovanni Reyna.

AM – Morgan Gibbs-White

One of the first names on the roster is Forest’s maestro Morgan Gibbs-White, who will undoubtedly play this weekend.

Nuno Santo will be hoping that the 24-year-old, who has assisted on five goals this season, can be a lethal attacker.

LW – Anthony Elanga

With six assists, Forest’s leading creator should be back in the starting lineup this weekend, with Neco Williams taking the place of the former Man United winger.

With the 21-year-old on the team, the Tricky Trees become considerably more menacing. He has also scored four goals.

ST – Taiwo Awoniyi

Taiwo Awoniyi’s comeback to action will have the Forest supporters in a frenzy, and he’s already got the team’s goal against Arsenal to prove it.

The Nigerian, who will start in front of Chris Wood, has five goals and two assists in 11 games.

Forest’s predicted lineup in full vs Bournemouth: GK – Sels; RB – Montiel, CB – Omobamidele, CB – Murillo, LB – Toffolo; DM – Yates, DM – Danilo; RW – Dominguez, AM – Gibbs-White, LW – Elanga; Awoniyi.
