After Todd Cantwell scored a goal for Rangers in their win over Livingston, Fabio Silva sent him a note.

On Saturday, February 3, the former Norwich City player scored the third and last goal for his team, helping the Gers to a 3-0 victory.

In the Scottish Premiership match at Ibrox, Rabbi Matondo and Wolves loanee Silva both found the scoresheet.

After Cantwell posted pictures of his goal and celebrations on Instagram, Silva—who scored the team’s first goal—became one of the individuals messaging him.

Rangers win easily at Ibrox.
Rangers boss Philippe Clement would have aggressively cautioned his players not to get complacent despite Livingston’s miserable season.

An upset was expected given that the game was being played at Ibrox and that the visitors were in dire need of points, but the hosts made sure that didn’t happen.

To the dismay of the home crowd, it may have taken the team some time to get going, but Silva was there to lift them from their seats with his opening goal in the 40th minute.

Cantwell finished with all three points early in the second half, while Matondo gave the Gers a 2-0 advantage at the interval.

The performance will have the manager in the dugout ecstatic. That victory came just after Celtic lost ground in a 1-1 draw against Aberdeen.

Although Clement will undoubtedly be concentrating on his own team, the manager will also be keeping a close watch on their formidable rivals, especially in light of this most recent error.

In other Rangers news, a report revealed the inner thoughts of the Ibrox chiefs on Jack Butland following a move proposal for the goalkeeper.
