Supporters can watch Latics’ next home match against Kidderminster Harriers for just £1, as part of a unique initiative to welcome chairman Frank Rothwell back to his hometown.

Reduced ticket prices are an attempt to fill Boundary Park for the chairman’s special return and support the squad in an important game on Saturday, February 24 (kick-off 3pm).

Frank has been away since the beginning of December and is already nearing the end of his Atlantic Ocean solo row to raise money for Alzheimer’s Research UK.

Despite encountering extremely challenging circumstances and capsized three times on his journey, he has demonstrated incredible bravery and strength to get to this point.

Frank is on track to surpass the record of being the oldest person to have rowed across the ocean alone.

The team wants to pack Boundary Park to give Frank a hero’s welcome back for his first home game as they are so proud of him.

In addition, Micky Mellon’s Latics are competing for a spot in the National League Playoffs, thus this game is crucial to them.

Purchase your £1 match ticket right now online.

Additionally, tickets can be obtained by going to the Latics ticket office, which is located off Furtherwood Road in front of the Main Stand.

All gate proceeds from the match will be donated by the club to Alzheimer’s Research UK.

While entry is only £1, you have the opportunity to contribute more to Frank’s fundraising drive at the time of purchase, and we encourage all of our supporters to do so.

There is no turntable payment option for this all-ticket game.

Note that an adult must accompany any child under the age of 14.

You can also donate by going to Frank’s JustGiving page, which is located here.

Important information

All ages can purchase tickets for £1, which includes both home and away supporters.

Supporters are urged to contribute to Frank’s fundraising effort for Alzheimer’s Research UK after making the online purchase.

There won’t be any pay turnstiles accessible; the game will be all ticket only.

Every under-14 must have an adult accompany them.

Tickets will be available to home supporters in the Joe Royle Stand, Jimmy Frizzell Stand, Family Stand, Main Stand Upper/Lower Paddock (RRE side) and Chadderton Road End.

Away supporters will be housed in the Main Stand Paddock (CRE side).
