Adam Bate of Sky Sports claims that David Moyes is under “extra pressure” as a result of West Ham moving to the London Stadium. The reporter clarified that since the Hammers moved from Upton Park, home attendance had nearly doubled.

Bate continued, saying that club supporters might feel differently about Moyes’s dismissal and that his style of play may call for a change.

For Sky Sports, Bate noted, “Since the stadium move, attendance has nearly doubled, and that changes the dynamic too.” “The anguish of losing is more intense and the thrill of winning more intense for an extra thirty thousand supporters. Putting down the phone or turning off the TV is simpler than having to go back through Stratford, whether you’re with someone in pain or alone in contemplation. That surely adds to the burden.
However, these advocates are not fooled. They know that West Ham does not typically have evenings like the one they had in Prague. They have survived the hard years. There is appreciation for the wonderful times had under Moyes as well as an understanding that change entails risk. Still, it makes sense to want it to look differently than this.

There has been a never-ending discussion about whether or not to continue with Moyes; the manager is continuously surrounded by chatter about his future in East London. Having led the team to the Europa Conference League trophy the previous season, many fans of the team will be eager for the manager to return for another campaign.

In addition, they are now ranked ninth in the Premier League standings and have advanced to the Europa League knockout stages this season. However, many other supporters would point to Arsenal’s recent 6-0 thrashing as evidence why Moyes has to be fired.

For the guy in the dugout, it was a horrible day, as many of his followers called for a new manager in the wake of the team’s crushing defeat.

However, Moyes may still be in the dark about his future this summer, as that decision will most likely only be made by the London Stadium’s higher ups. In unrelated West Ham news, following the Hammers’ defeat to Arsenal, Paul Merson publicly criticised the team on Sky Sports, sharing a criticism of the “under-10s.”
