It was crucial to put an end to the rot at Sutton on Tuesday because FOUR straight losses is unheard of in previous seasons.

Even though it wasn’t very nice, Wrexham’s promotion campaign is back on track because they won.
When the Reds and Notts County faced off for the National League championship last season, Phil Parkinson’s team prevailed, and the team will need to continue winning in the remaining 16 games. Despite their unbeaten record, Wrexham is in a strong position, and there are other clubs vying for a top-three finish and automatic promotion.

Although defeating Sutton won’t send anyone into a daze, securing three points is a huge lift ahead of tomorrow’s home match against Notts County, who have lost ground but are still vying for at least a play-off berth. The Reds will truly need to demonstrate their promotion credentials when Wrexham plays three straight away games.
