This past weekend saw the passing of Mark Lane, a well-liked and respected reporter for the Dallas Cowboys and Houston Texans.
The news of Lane’s passing was verified by BloggingTheBoys.com, a Cowboys fan site that he had contributed to for a long period. But he was also the managing editor of @TheTexansWire and regularly contributed to other Cowboys-related programmes and websites. He also supplied other sites with a variety of additional information.

His coworkers at the business recall Lane’s remarkable recall of NFL history. His coworkers remember him as a diligent worker. According to McClain, “Mark was always an extremely hard worker who loved covering the NFL.”

Regarding Lane, NBC Sports’ Charean Williams referred to him as “one of the kindest, gentlest souls I have known.” He was a brilliant statistician. Mark was one of the people that had a very bad start in life. He fought bravely to beat childhood cancer and live long enough to have a lung transplant.
