Using his official X account, Tony Bellew has given a stern message to West Ham United supporters regarding David Moyes. After a dismal run of results for his team, West Ham United manager David Moyes is under a lot of heat right now, and rightfully so, but Tony Bellew has defended the Scot.
The Hammers board is rumoured to be extremely dissatisfied with West Ham’s current situation, and they were especially offended by Moyes’s remarks following our Saturday loss to Nottingham Forest. Since we defeated Arsenal at the Emirates on December 28th, West Ham has been in free fall, and a major contributing factor to our current collapse has been Moyes’ decision to not add any new forward players in January. Even the most devoted “Yes In” supporters are growing increasingly weary of the Scot’s pessimistic attitude towards games and his depressing pre-match talk.
I would believe that most people at the London Stadium are now part of a legitimate campaign to remove Moyes. Guys, don’t worry; Tony Bellew has advised us to be cautious about our wishes.
Fans of West Ham receive a message from Tony Bellew on X
Last night, the former heavyweight boxer supported Moyes on his official X account.
Bellew posted the following message to the Hammers fans:
A brilliant manager! A great person and someone who deserves the upmost respect.. Careful what you wish for Hammers, This man took you to European Honours and a solid league position year in year out. 👏👏
This “be careful what you wish for” mentality is intolerable to me. Nothing in life is certain at all. Is it feasible for a faltering company to refuse to alter at the top when there are obvious problems at the management level? Of course, I wouldn’t be requesting a manager change if we were playing fantastic football and were in the top four! But we’re not; in our last eight games, we have failed to win and have only managed one goal from open play.
The football is terrible and seems to be from a different period. With David Moyes, there is no future at all.
Since Bellew doesn’t get paid to watch us every week, he wouldn’t be aware of this. He doesn’t even know how much we value entertainment, and he has no connection whatsoever to the Hammers. And I have no doubt that most West Ham supporters will concur with me when I tell Tony Bellew to get out of our affairs!
