A major update about West Ham United’s managerial situation has surfaced, with reports indicating that David Moyes is under intense pressure to allow Julen Lopetegui to join the Irons. Since Moyes took over as manager of West Ham again in December 2019, the team has had four incredible years. They have not only finished in the top seven in back-to-back seasons between 2021 and 2022, but they have also won their first major trophy in forty-three years, the 2022–23 Europa Conference League.
It is reasonable in certain ways that West Ham supporters are calling for Moyes to be replaced despite all of his fantastic efforts.

Supporters of West Ham believe the team now have the authority to appoint a quality coach who can lead the team to a top six finish while simultaneously encouraging more attacking and thrilling football performance.
The team’s dismal performance in recent months has also shocked the Hammers supporters. They have lost their previous three Premier League games to Manchester United, Arsenal, and Nottingham Forest, and have not won since December 28. They have also let up an incredible 11 goals in those games.

The West Ham administration has been considering extending Moyes’ contract, which ends at the end of the current league season. However, they will have no choice but to contemplate firing the Scot if he is unable to improve the situation.

In the midst of speculation about Roy Hodgson’s future, Lopetegui was recently offered a position at Crystal Palace. However, he turned down the offer since he would prefer to play for West Ham going forward.

In an attempt to join West Ham, Julen Lopetegui
According to a number of sources, the 57-year-old turned down a lucrative contract offer from Saudi club Al-Ittihad and a return to Spain because he wanted to work in the Premier League after leaving Wolverhampton Wanderers.

According to this update, Lopetegui turned down Palace, who face relegation, because he believes he can excel at a top-10 team next. Even though West Ham is having a really bad season, they are still in ninth place.

Long-term and short-term improvements for West Ham would probably be facilitated by the Spaniard. Despite his high expectations, he was compelled to leave Wolves prior to the start of the current season because they were unable to pay his transfer demands.

Lopetegui has a strong European background, having assisted Sevilla in their 2019–20 Europa League victory. He has also had interim management positions at Real Madrid, Spain, and Porto.
