Daniel Farke was furious with what Stephy Mavididi did on February 23, the day Leeds United defeated Leicester City 3-1. At Elland Road, the Whites overcame a goal deficit to win the game with three goals in the second half.

Mavididi took as long as he could to be substituted off with the score at 1-0, but in the end, it went against his team.

“Of the many moments which triggered Farke on a highly emotive evening, the visitors’ time-wasting seemed to animate the Leeds boss most,” wrote Beren Cross on LeedsLive on February 24. While his team pursued an equaliser, Farke was yelling for action into the fourth official’s ear as Stephy Mavididi dragged himself off the pitch to be replaced.

Daniel Farke showcases his passion for Leeds United

Farke’s ferocious response against Leicester demonstrated his intense passion for the sport.

His fervent reaction to Mavididi’s inefficiency was a reflection of how much he wanted his side to win.

Farke’s enthusiastic presence on the sidelines, demanding action, demonstrated his devotion to every second of the game and perfectly summed up his passion for Leeds.

Farke’s choice to join the supporters in celebrating after the game further highlighted his sentimental attachment to the team and its followers.

This action cemented his relationship with the Elland Road faithful while also expressing his gratitude for their steadfast support.

Farke won over the supporters even more by fully participating in the festivities and demonstrating his sincere love for the team.

It is then up to the board to support him in the market. Hopefully, he is the man to lead Leeds back to the promised land.
