The Michigan football team’s roster has undergone numerous changes this summer. About 20 players from U-M’s national championship-winning Team 144 could be drafted this April, and a few more have decided to pursue their careers in different directions. Wolverine players have 30 days to use the transfer portal after Jim Harbaugh left Ann Arbour to take over as head coach of the Los Angeles Chargers. The window has now closed, and although the Wolverines lost a few players who would have been important contributors in 2024 and later, Sherrone Moore and the Michigan staff did a fantastic job of retaining the majority of the team during the transition.
