In the Premier League, West Ham takes on notorious team Brentford at the London Stadium, with David Moyes under severe pressure.

On Monday night, West Ham will try nine times to win a game for the first time in 2024 when Brentford visits east London. However, the Bees would probably be the last team chosen by David Moyes to play against any team outside of the top. Of the 43 teams Moyes has managed in the Premier League, only Brentford has never defeated him.

Bogey side Brentford are Moyes’ worst nightmare

And in search of their sixth victory over the Irons following their promotion, Thomas Frank’s team travels to the London Stadium.

With Ivan Toney’s return and the awful performances of Kurt Zouma and Nayef Aguerd, West Ham supporters are bracing themselves for the worse.

The Hammers lost 2-0 at Forest during their most recent game. However, in actuality, West Ham won the score and it could have been by a far greater margin.

‘Concentrate on the pitch’ boss tells Hammers fans

The manager was asked if he feared a repetition on the home terraces ahead of Brentford.

And before the Brentford match, Moyes addressed a sharp message to irate West Ham supporters.

The idea is to “focus on the pitch.”

When asked what he hoped to see from West Ham supporters on Monday night, Moyes responded, “It’s what I want to see from the players, the performance from the players,” during his whole press conference.

Our performances are what matter most; that’s what always gets the fans fired up.

“Let us focus on the field,” Moyes remarked, grinning sardonically.

“And you know, hopefully everyone focuses on what’s happening on the pitch.”

The manager has made no secret of his feelings.

He anticipates that the supporters won’t give his team any trouble or give the media something to work with while they concentrate on the match.
