Regarding tonight’s game against Dundee, Brendan Rodgers will have to make another defensive substitution.

The former Legia Warsaw player had to leave the game against Motherwell on Sunday an hour after entering to replace Stephen Welsh in favour of Cameron Carter-Vickers.

Despite his season-long injury history, the former Spurs player is certain to start today against Dundee as the countdown to the SPFL championship gets under way.

How does the team’s injury situation stand? It’s been suggested that Maik Nawrocki has an injury. Is that accurate?

Indeed. He felt his hamstring during the game and developed a niggle, so it will probably put him out for a short while.

Will Cameron Carter-Vickers require managing or is he ready to return right away?

Carter-Vickers will require supervision, but he is prepared to begin if necessary. When he enters the game on the weekends, you can tell the difference. He’s a great operator; we simply need to be considerate of his time and minutes.

Thankfully, Liam Scales has not suffered an injury and has participated in every game since joining the team against St Johnstone at home at the end of August.

After Celtic backed out of his loan deal to Lecce, Gus Lagerbielke is still out of action; nonetheless, the Swede hasn’t been included in a matchday squad since the winter break.

With Hearts visiting Tynecastle on Sunday, Rodgers will be hoping that Carter-Vickers and Welsh survive tonight’s game unscathed.
