PHIL PARKINSON thinks Paul Mullin’s late equaliser against bottom-dwelling Forest Green Rovers will give Wrexham a much-needed boost in their push for promotion. Despite possessing 75% of the ball, the Reds were unable to break down Rovers and produced few clear-cut opportunities, and it appeared that the match would end in a second straight away loss (Wrexham lost 1-0 at Gillingham on Saturday).
However, Mullin was brought down in the area by Jamie Robson, and the striker fired home the ensuing penalty in the third minute of injury time to secure a 1-1 draw against the bottom-dwelling Rovers.
