Following his injury return, Ansu Fati has received some guidance from Brighton manager Roberto De Zerbi.
Fati was a member of the injury-ravaged team that lost 1-0 at Molineux despite being selected in the starting lineup for the FA Cup midweek matchup against Wolves.
The young player has only recently returned after a protracted injury layoff, and De Zerbi thinks that in order to regain his form, he must “push every day 100%.”
“He can push more, he can be stronger, he can play better, he can believe more in his abilities,” he told a press conference.
“He is a sensitive guy, he is a good guy and part of my work is to help this type of players to believe more in themselves, to show all his qualities.
“It is a challenge for me. To push your players, to show all qualities and not one part is a big challenge.
“A big challenge is when you have a talent and Ansu Fati is a big talent.
“I think it is habit – push every day 100% on the pitch.”
If he can stay healthy, Fati should play a lot of minutes between now and the conclusion of the season because of Brighton’s injury situation.
The Seagulls have a busy week ahead of them as they travel to Roma in the Europa League round of 16 and take on Fulham in the Premier League.
