Greetings and welcome to SB Nation Reacts, an NFL fan survey. We pose questions to the nation’s most engaged Green Bay Packers and sports fans all year long. To take part in the weekly email surveys, register here.

Just one month after the addition, we asked you last week about your thoughts on the hire of Jeff Hafley as the new defensive coordinator for the Packers. Hafley (finally) had his introductory press conference with the local press between his hiring and the time our poll ran. During that time, he was able to appoint defensive coordinator Derrick Ansley, a coach who had previously been interviewed elsewhere, and run game coordinator/linebackers coach Anthony Campanile to his staff.

The perception of Hafley appeared to shift little as a result of those additional data points. In our quick response survey at the time of his hiring, 67% of fans rated the decision as either an A or B. Eighty-two percent of you rated the hire favourably when we asked you about it last week.

Perhaps a more significant shift is the proportion of you that are unhappy about the relocation. Compared to 10% of you who graded the addition as a D or F a month ago, only 1% of you stated that you now felt negatively about the hiring.

It appears like Packers supporters are more grateful for Hafley’s hiring now than they were when it was initially announced, whether it’s because of the coaches he’s brought in, hearing from Hafley for the first time, or just getting used to playing a single-high defensive scheme.

If you have rethought the hire, kindly let us know in the comments area below. We would be delighted to know what made a difference for you.
