Kurt Zouma and Edson Alvarez responded to Lucas Paqueta’s Instagram post following Saturday, March 2’s 3-1 victory over Everton at Goodison Park by West Ham.

After Beto’s headed opener was overturned by the aforementioned pair and Tomas Soucek, the Hammers completed a thrilling comeback to win their second game in a row.

After making his comeback from injury against Brentford, Paqueta played a crucial role once more in West Ham’s response to their horrendous run of eight games without a victory across all competitions.

After the game, on Sunday, March 3, Brazilian player Paqueta posted this image on X with the description, “West Ham massive.” Alvarez and Zouma replied with fire and heart emojis in the comments section.

West Ham United leave embarrassing run of games behind them

Since the start of the New Year, many Hammers supporters have called for David Moyes to be fired from his position at the London Stadium due to his eight straight games in all competitions without a win.

West Ham has looked like a completely different team since Paqueta joined the team again. They have defeated Brentford and Everton and scored seven goals in the process, as opposed to four goals in their previous eight games.

Even if the Hammers are starting to win again, it is evident that they are highly dependent on the Brazilian to lead their assault, which will continue to be a worry.

Even if there is less pressure on Moyes and fewer supporters are demanding that he be fired, the club’s season is still very much in the balance and will require a great deal of effort to succeed.

Earlier in the season, the London club was in the running to finish in the top four. However, as Mohammed Kudus was away on international service and Paqueta and Jarrod Bowen suffered injuries, their form declined along with their league standing.

Of course, it’s possible for it to happen again before the season is out, but Moyes has the opportunity to create more unforgettable moments with the prospect of winning another trophy and advancing their Europa League campaign against Freiburg.
