Two Wrexham players are balancing their disciplinary records in order to avoid being suspended for the last League Two game.
Elliot Lee has been booked eight times this season in the league, while James McClean has received nine yellow cards.
With just two games remaining before the next deadline, players who receive 10 yellow cards after 37 games will be suspended for two games.
Manager Phil Parkinson will be hoping that both Wrexham and Harrogate Town avoid cautions in their matchups before the reset. Wrexham, now third in the table, will continue their promotion campaign away at Morecambe on Saturday before hosting Harrogate Town at The Racecourse on Tuesday, March 12.
“We have got two games to get through so hopefully they can both avoid suspension,” said Reds’ boss Phil Parkinson.
“If they do get suspended, we will deal with it within the squad.”
Parkinson has been dealt a boost with Tom O’Connor, a midfielder who has been in excellent form playing as the left-sided centre-back for the majority of the League Two campaign, returning to training this week after sustaining a slight fracture in his foot ahead of the Welsh derby defeat to Newport County on January 20.
