The striker for Wrexham, Paul Mullin, is still trying to surpass his season-high 47 goals, but he acknowledges that it seems “unachievable.”

Consequently, what happened?
Mullin now has 16 goals this season in all competitions after his hat-trick against Accrington Stanley last weekend. With 95 goals, he is ranked 10th in the club’s all-time scoring list. The 29-year-old still aims to surpass his 47 goals from the previous season in the National League, despite missing the opening few months of the current campaign due to a punctured lung.

THOUGHS OF PAUL MULLIN
“It’s not bad after missing 10 games at the beginning of the season, but equally, it’s not good enough for me,” he said to The Leader. I want to perform better and better, like I constantly say. Although I thought 47 goals the previous season would be difficult to top, that has always been my target. I wanted to try and achieve it even after missing the games. Although it seems incredibly difficult to accomplish, that is my goal each season.”

Although there is some merit to Mullin’s goal ambitions, the primary objective is to propel Wrexham into League One and win them their second consecutive promotion. They have an important final 11 games of the season ahead of them and are presently third in League Two, the final automatic promotion slot.
