Rasmus Kristensen, a defender for Leeds United, could miss at least a month due to injury.

This season, the 26-year-old has been a consistent presence in Serie A while on loan at Roma. He appears, nevertheless, to be headed for a stint away from the team due to an injury.

He was replaced after just 27 minutes of Sunday’s (March 3) Roma vs. Monza match. Il Tempo, as reported by Roma Press, claims that he was sent for tests to determine the severity of the injury.

According to reports, the Denmark international sustained damage to his thigh muscle, which will prevent him from playing for at least four weeks.

Kristensen has previously worked with Jesse Marsch at Red Bull Salzburg. She joined Leeds in the summer of 2022. He had a hard time adjusting to life in the Premier League, just like a lot of the players signed that summer.

Despite being a constant in the Leeds lineup for the whole 2022–2023 season, he was powerless to stop the Whites from losing the championship. After Leeds was relegated, a number of players, including Kristensen, went on loan.

Since then, Elland Road’s right-back position has been occupied by adolescent Archie Grey, who has distinguished himself despite being a central midfielder by trade.

Roma is presently 25 points behind Inter, the league leaders, in the fifth spot in the Serie A standings. Conversely, Leeds is two points behind Ipswich Town in second place in the Championship and now sits in third place. If Daniel Farke’s team defeats Sheffield, their Yorkshire rivals, on Wednesday night (March 8), they could pass the Tractor Boys.
