Paul Mullin has been informed that he may continue playing international football without having to abandon Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney’s Wrexham project.

Consequently, what happened?
The prolific frontman’s window of opportunity to earn a spot in the senior Wales team is closing, as his thirty-first birthday falls in November. Mullin has scored 95 goals for Wrexham, but he has also played in the National League and League Two. Rob Page has acknowledged that he has been keeping an eye on Mullin’s progress.

WHAT MULLIN WAS SAYED BY TRUNDLE
In response to a question on whether Mullin will have an opportunity to play for Wales at SToK Racecourse, former Red Dragons striker Lee Trundle said on the Fearless in Devotion podcast, “I think Mulls is a great player and I love him.” I find it annoying when people try to minimise your skill by stating things like, “Oh, you’re only playing at that level.” Mulls could still score goals, in my opinion, if he played in the Championship for the appropriate side. When questioned further about whether Mullin would need to join a Championship team in order to achieve his ultimate goals, Trundle said, “I think that he can go and play at that level, and I’m hoping that will be with Wrexham.” Like me at Swansea, he’s found himself in a scenario where you go to a club that perfectly suits you and everything revolves around you. Mulls would perform exactly the same and score exactly the same goals if he moved up the leagues with Wrexham.
