Before Nottingham Forest’s match against Brighton & Hove Albion, head coach Nuno provided a promising report on one of his key players.

On Sunday, Forest will travel to play Brighton & Hove Albion in the Premier League.

At the end of the season, Nuno’s team could be demoted to the Championship.

After 27 games, Nottingham Forest has 24 points. Third from bottom Luton Town is now three points below the Reds.

Although Chris Wood has struggled with injuries lately, there is positive news regarding the former Newcastle United striker’s fitness.

Nuno on Chris Wood, a striker for Nottingham Forest
As he continues his recuperation from injury, the £15 million (The Athletic) attacker is back in training, and Forest manager Nuno has stated that the New Zealand international may play away from home against Brighton in the Premier League on Sunday.

Although Brighton is now 10th in the Premier League standings, the Seagulls are not playing well right now. They were thrashed by AS Roma in the UEFA Europa League midweek, and they have now lost two of their previous four Premier League games.

Nuno responded, as reported by NottinghamshireLive, to a question concerning Wood by saying, “Let’s see.” Let’s wait and see because everything is the same and he is still participating with the team.

In my opinion, Nottingham Forest requires Chris Wood.
Chris Wood is what Nottingham Forest needs in the last few weeks and months of the season, in my opinion.

All of Forest’s players must be available and in good shape. Nuno’s side is in danger of losing, after all.

Wood is a talented striker with a strong Premier League record. He is a skilled goal scorer, and it is goals that will prevent Forest from being demoted.

This season, the 32-year-old striker has made 11 substitute appearances in addition to nine starts for Forest in the Premier League. In those games, he has eight goals and one assist.
