When Nottingham Forest plays Brighton and Hove Albion on Sunday, they’ll be trying to recover from their loss to Liverpool at the City Ground last Saturday.

Last Saturday, Forest lost the Premier League match 1-0 at the City Ground against Liverpool.

In the ninth minute of injury time, Darwin Nunez scored the game’s lone goal under dubious circumstances.

In the Premier League on Sunday, Nottingham Forest will face Brighton and Hove Albion away from home.

Nuno, the manager of Nottingham Forest, talks about Taiwo Awoniyi
Forest manager Nuno provided an encouraging update on Taiwo Awoniyi’s condition prior to the game.

Nuno does not want to take any needless chances with the former Liverpool prospect as Awoniyi recovers from a groyne injury, but he has seen improvement in the striker.

According to NottinghamshireLive, Nuno stated of Awoniyi, “He is closer.” Everyone is aware of Taiwo’s situation; after missing a significant amount of time due to injury, he began playing more than he ought to have because of the team’s conditions.

“He’s getting better. Considering that he had played ninety minutes and had a little recuperation period following his 90-minute performance in the FA Cup, it was decided not to start him. However, he had a good finish on Saturday and is OK.

My Opinion: Taiwo Awoniyi is needed by Nottingham Forest
I think Taiwo Awoniyi has to be fully healthy and performing at his peak for Nottingham Forest in the last few weeks and months of the season.

This season, teams in the Premier League are struggling to survive, including Forest. More goals must be scored by Nuno’s team.

Awoniyi is a talented striker who brings the ball home. During the previous season, he scored 20 goals in 43 games in all competitions for Union Berlin.

This season, the Nigerian international striker has made 12 starts and 4 substitute appearances for Forest in the Premier League. In those games, he has contributed three assists and six goals.
