During the next international break, Pascal Struijk is scheduled to resume full training at Leeds United; nevertheless, Beren Cross believes it will be difficult for him to get into the starting lineup.

On March 12, a journalist for Leeds Live stated that it is hard to imagine Daniel Farke separating Ethan Ampadu and Joe Rodon due to their excellent defensive pairing.

Under Farke’s direction, Struijk was a reliable starter prior to his injury, but Ampadu has taken over as a fill-in, with Ilia Gruev shifting into midfield.

When will Leeds United’s Pascal Struijk make his injured return?
The defender missed several weeks of action due to an adductor injury, but he is finally anticipated to make a comeback, and Farke will be relieved to have such a reliable player back and available over the upcoming international break.

Due to his outstanding performances, Rodon has been a strong favourite to stay at Elland Road permanently. This is especially true given his recent remarks indicating that he would like to stay, and his spot in the starting lineup is essentially guaranteed.

Ampadu, on the other hand, has emerged as one of the Championship’s most reliable players at Elland Road this year and has grown into a vital member of Farke’s squad whether he plays at the back or in midfield.

Struijk will now have to make the most of any opportunities that fall his way, whether it be through rotation or injuries, as he looks to reclaim his starting spot. There are certainly worse problems for the manager to have.
