During training, Taiwo Awoniyi and Neco Williams were heard making fun of Harry Toffolo, a teammate at Nottingham Forest.

The incident was recorded at the most recent Inside Training session for Nottingham Forest.

What were the opinions of Taiwo Awoniyi and Neco Williams on Harry Toffolo, the No. 15 for Nottingham Forest? Let’s examine this.

Neco Williams and Taiwo Awoniyi make fun of Harry Toffolo.
The Nottingham Forest pair were seen smiling less than eight seconds into the footage.

Then, Williams is heard remarking, “Worst haircut in the squad?” Prior to Awoniyi answering with “Harry Toffolo,” the Wales international repeats that, and the two burst out laughing.

Cruel.

Toffolo, who joined Lewis O’Brien in July 2022 after arriving from Huddersfield in a £10 million double deal, might have been surprised by that comment if he had seen the footage, but we’re sure it was all just friendly banter on the training field.

Given that so many players on Nuno Espirito Santo’s team are shown laughing and joking around in the training footage, morale appears to be good among them.

That says volumes about the impact the Portuguese strategist has had at the City Ground. With the tense relegation battle and potential points deduction—especially in light of some awful refereeing of late—it would be very easy for everyone to feel depressed.

Neco Williams shares insider view on Nuno

Given the passion for Steve Cooper among the fans, Nuno took over a challenging role at the City Ground.

Williams claims that while though the 50-year-old is not likely to ever gain the same level of popularity among fans as the Welshman does, it appears that he is making an impression on the players.

The official website of Nottingham Forest was informed by the No. 7 player that “he’s so passionate about the players and the fans.” The fans might not realize how passionate he is as it happens every day inside our bubble, but they might not see that.

“I’m really enjoying working with him right now; we have a close relationship, and I’m always trying to get better, so I know his door is always open if I need advice.”

Much will depend on Saturday’s pivotal six-point match against Luton Town, as Chris Sutton has previously predicted. Hopefully, Nuno can lead Nottingham Forest to safety this season.
