Junior Firpo, a left-back for Leeds United, has a 2025 contract that expires. Should the team get promoted to the Premier League, they may consider offers in the summer.

The Whites intend to play in the Premier League the following season, and they are well-positioned to win the Championship this year thanks to their performance in 2024.

Junior Firpo’s return to form has been a major factor in Daniel Farke’s team’s 11 wins in their past 12 games this season.

Junior Firpo could be sold in the summer if Leeds get promoted – Phil Hay

Despite Firpo’s recent upsurge in form, Phil Hay of The Athletic revealed this week that Leeds is considering hearing offers for the player in the summer.

Firpo has contributed five assists so far this season, all of which have come since New Year’s Day. However, the club will give this more thought if he is promoted back to the Premier League.

Firpo signed a four-year contract with Leeds until the summer of 2021, keeping him at the team until 2025. As a result, he will be in the final year of his deal next season. Firpo cost £13 million to recruit from Barcelona.

Firpo’s Leeds career could end on immense high

Before the final whistle blew, Firpo shed many tears while staying up late at Brentford on the last day of 21/22, demonstrating to you what it means to be at Leeds and succeed with the Whites.

But after such a difficult time with us, a promotion would be a fantastic way to end his stay at the club.

Despite his history of injuries and inconsistent play, he currently appears to be an essential member of the team as they compete for promotion.

With Firpo’s contract expiring in the summer of 2025, the club may be justified in exploring a sale as it may be our only opportunity to get a decent price for him, and it’s reasonable to think that we’d need to improve in the Premier League nonetheless.
