The 20-year-old former Arsenal prodigy who is presently blazing in the Championship is someone Crystal Palace should think about signing.

With multiple teams vying for Michael Olise’s services right now, it’s likely that he will leave Selhurst Park this summer.

Olise is a vital member of Oliver Glasner’s team, and his departure would be a great loss, even though he hasn’t played much under the Austrian.

In light of this, Dougie Freedman needs to replace the 22-year-old French prodigy at Crystal Palace with a skillful replacement this summer.

As of right now, it seems that Matias Soule is the favorite to land this position; he would be a great addition. However, there might be a better player in the Championship right now.

This summer, Dougie Freedman needs to sign Omari Hutchinson.
Given that Soule will likely cost close to £40 million, Palace may be more tempted to look for a less expensive option. Given Freedman’s expertise in bringing in players from the Championship, Omari Hutchinson may be a better option.

Hutchinson excelled at Arsenal before moving to Chelsea in 2022, but because to his strong play while on loan at Ipswich this season, he has established himself as a potential Premier League target.

This season, the youthful player has seven goals and five assists for Kieran McKenna’s team, who are presently well-positioned to win the championship and almost certain to be promoted.

Though he can play a variety of attacking positions, his greatest success has been on the right, as demonstrated by his most recent appearance and goal last weekend.

Hutchinson, 20, has long been seen as a strong potential; the great Brazilian Pele even gave him props when the wonderkid was just 12 years old.

How much would Crystal Palace have to pay for Omari Hutchinson?
The good news for Palace is that Hutchinson will be back to Chelsea in June, but the Blues have already shown they are more than happy to part with their young players.

Palace has previously benefited from Marc Guehi, and given Hutchinson’s low market value, we find it difficult to believe that his transfer cost will surpass £20 million.

This might be half of the price Juventus is asking for Soule, which would free up a sizable sum for further investments.

But with numerous European sides reportedly interested, as Fabrizio Romano has already revealed, Palace will need to move quickly to secure Hutchinson.

It would be a wise decision, and given Freedman’s track record of good hiring, it would make sense. Let’s wait and see.
