Dan Plumley responded to the “huge” announcement that 777 Partners’ planned takeover of Everton would get a ruling this week.

Final questions were presented during a recent meeting, and it was reported on March 15 that a Premier League decision was anticipated within days.

The football financial specialist acknowledged that, given the club’s dire circumstances right now, there are worries about what would happen if 777 is turned down.

He exclusively told Goodison News, “It is huge.”

“The PSR breach has shown us the figures and its aftermath, and now we are experiencing a second breach.

“We are aware of the problems with the stadium and the finance costs; we also know that Moshiri is involved, and we have witnessed this in action.

“With all these factors involved, not to mention the financial dire circumstances at that club, the takeover would be historic, provided everything goes as planned. The sporting danger is also real, and relegation is a real possibility given the points deduction as well.

“You seem to be hoping for a brighter future. I realize that there are still a lot of unanswered problems with 777, but what if it’s not them? Then what would happen next?

That’s probably more concern to fans at the minute, if that doesn’t go through then what happens next?”

Will 777 Partners finish taking over Everton?
Josh Wander has responded to multiple reports that have been made against 777 Partners recently, putting more pressure on both the company and Everton.

One of these scenarios needs to be made much evident very quickly, as another Premier League point deduction is imminent.
