Corriere Dello Sport reports that Diego Llorente will probably continue at Leeds United while Rasmus Kristensen is expected to return after his loan at Roma.

With his option to buy set at £4.2 million, the Italian news source stated in its print edition [21 March, page 10] that there is a “good chance” Llorente will relocate permanently to Roma.

But after his loan expires, Kristensen and colleague Sardar Azmoun are set to return to Elland Road, meaning they won’t be staying in Italy.

Is Rasmus Kristensen going to stay at Leeds United come summertime?
After his loan period, the full-back may return to Elland Road, but that does not guarantee he will be a regular member of Daniel Farke’s squad or part of his plans for the upcoming campaign. In an attempt to turn a profit, the club’s search for a long-term tenant is equally likely.

The defender had recently expressed his wish to leave Elland Road following their Premier League relegation, admitting he leaped at the chance to collaborate with then-Roma manager Jose Mourinho.

The defender’s career in Italy has started out acrimoniously. He was not included in Mourinho’s roster for the Europa League, and rumors have it that the former Chelsea manager is not fond of the Dane.

He will need to win back the supporters who have already severed their emotional bonds with players like Max Wober and Robin Koch, who now seem to be planning separate transfer departures, if a long-term stay at Leeds is in the cards.
