It was a tremendous win for us under really tough circumstances, he told reporters. The wind would always have an effect on the game, but especially in the first half, our professionalism and game management were excellent.

After being promoted from League Two the previous season, Wrexham is attempting to advance from the league for the first time. Wrexham is competing against Mansfield Town, Stockport County, and MK Dons for a spot in the top three at the end of the season, with three automatic promotion berths up for grabs.
