Raoul Bellanova, a versatile defender for Torino, is being closely watched by West Ham, according to Tuttosport.

According to Toro News, the Italian publication revealed on Saturday, March 23, in its print edition, that a representative of West Ham was present when Bellanova faced Udinese last week.

Bellanova, an AC Milan product, is reportedly of interest to Manchester United and Aston Villa, two other Premier League teams.

According to the source, “Bellanova is interested in joining the Premier League, demonstrating that his outstanding season is not going unnoticed.”

English clubs are becoming more and more interested in [Bellanova]. He had already been watched live in a few games by Aston Villa.

“There was a Manchester United scout at the Olimpico during the Roma vs. Torino match.

“To these two clubs a third has been added: we are referring to West Ham, who sent an emissary to Udine last week to study him closely.”

West Ham United summer transfer target possibly identified

Bellanova has excelled for Torino this season largely as a wing-back, scoring once and assisting five more in 28 Serie A outings.

It is hardly surprising that he is drawing interest from several clubs considering his versatility as a player.

Of course, Bellanova is familiar with Manchester United, but she may also be able to play in the Champions League with Aston Villa.

But West Ham have to make sure they make the case for why London Stadium is the ideal location for him at this time.

If Bellanova signs, he’ll probably be utilized at right-back until David Moyes makes a change in his lineup, which could be detrimental to Vladimir Coufal.

At the age of 23, Bellanova still has room to grow and build on the promise he has already demonstrated in one of Europe’s top leagues.

This is precisely the kind of player that will thrill fans, but the Irons won’t want to go into a bidding war.
