Dr Rajpal Brar said that Abdallah Sima is unlikely to be available for Rangers vs. Celtic Old Firm rivalry.

The injury expert asserts that in order for it to occur, he would have to return to full first-team training after missing most of January due to a thigh issue.

On April 7, the Hoops and the Gers square off in a match that may be described as a title decider.

Physical therapist and sports scientist Brar spoke exclusively with Ibrox News about his circumstances. He said:

“It will be interesting to watch how he adjusts to first-team training, but given how long he has been out, I would be shocked if he didn’t receive bounce matches to regain his rhythm and fitness.

“It will take several games before he can handle ninety minutes.”

Therefore, I believe it is improbable that he will play in that [Celtic] game, let alone start.

If he’s back in full training already then it’s a possibility but that does not seem to be the case.

Rangers hopes Sima makes a full recovery against Celtic.
Sima, who came to Ibrox on loan from Premier League team Brighton, has had a great debut season.

Before his injury, he scored fifteen goals, making him a vital member of Philippe Clement’s first squad.

The Senegal international was frequently used on the left wing by the Belgian, but he also moved into center areas and posed a serious goal threat.

In other Rangers news, the European league’s biggest clubs have begun their summer transfer window bidding for a first-team player of the Gers, providing an update on the player’s choice.
