On Saturday, Newcastle United was able to get things right against West Ham. And a little more after that.

At St. James’ Park, Eddie Howe’s team overcame a 3-1 deficit to win 4-3 on a memorable occasion for Harvey Barnes in particular.

Given the injuries and red card Newcastle also had to deal with, not even his incredible two late goals tell the whole tale, but the winger is deserving of most of the credit.

Still, overcoming such adversities required teamwork.

In fact, players like Lewis Hall and Elliot Anderson helped alter the game when they were introduced.

Though it is thought that he is not yet ready for regular Premier League action, the defender has battled to get playing time, he performed admirably at left-back.

Perhaps the teenager will now have a chance to play in the first team, because Kieran Trippier is out and Tino Livramento was pushed off.

Following a challenging start to the season, Hall updated Newcastle supporters.

After a rare opportunity against West Ham, Lewis Hall delivers a new message to Newcastle supporters.
Hall greeted Newcastle supporters in a video shown by the team’s official Instagram account, saying, “Hey, Lewis here.

“We appreciate your unwavering support throughout today; you saw us through to the very finish. Yes, that was a unique day.

How effective was Lewis Hall for Newcastle vs West Ham?
WhoScored data indicates that Hall made three tackles following his debut, second only to Bruno Guimaraes from Newcastle’s point of view.

When it came to interceptions, only Sean Longstaff, Fabian Schar, and Dan Burn outperformed him (2 to 1).

If he maintains that kind of play, hopefully Howe will consider selecting him a little more frequently as a result of his performance.

There’s a good probability Newcastle will require him if the current wave of injuries continues.

Maybe this will be the beginning of something for Hall.
