Journalist Alan Nixon reports that Leeds United midfielder Archie Gray has made the decision not to play for another English team if he departs Elland Road this summer.

Despite his youth, Gray is regarded as a huge potential and has been leading Leeds in the Championship this year.

Leeds is a strong contender to return to the Premier League under Daniel Farke, but there is no assurance that they will advance in the very competitive Championship.

If Gray doesn’t make the promotion, teams will be chasing him, and German powerhouse Borussia Dortmund is one of those teams.

It is evident from Gray’s camp that even if the Leeds player moves, he won’t join another English team.

That will boost Dortmund and foreign clubs looking at the midfielder as a possible bargain.

Dortmund could tempt Gray by pointing out how they helped Jude Bellingham to develop before he ultimately earned a move to Real Madrid.

Gray would prefer to be in the Premier League with Leeds next season, but if the Whites miss out, a move away could be on the cards.
